We are seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician. The medical group's OB/GYN department currently consists of 6 OB/GYN hospitalists, 24 OB GYN Generalists, 4 Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, 29 midwives and 7 Women's Nurse Practitioner. The physician in this position will be responsible for working collaboratively with other physicians and care team members to provide the highest standard of comprehensive medical care in a patient-centered, compassionate environment. The OB GYN Hospitalist will provide coverage for the labor and delivery unit which will include high-risk obstetrical patients and midwifery back up. The candidate will collaborate with midwives, residents, medical students and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists. In addition, they will provide consultation for GYN patients in the Emergency Room and perform urgent surgical procedures. Candidate will cover 12-13 (12 hour) shifts per month.
