The position requires occasionally ascending and descending a step with a height of 19 inches to enter and operate the forklift. The space for sitting in the forklift has a height of 38 inches and a width of 24 inches. + Occasionally entering a space with limited headroom at a height of 46 to 49 inches from the floor to retrieve cases. The position requires constant dynamic forward bending postures to a height of 12 inches and a depth of 12 inches from the chest while holding a 2-lbs. pick tool to retrieve cases. + Constant walking to retrieve cases throughout the work shift with frequent sitting to operate the forklift. + Forklift use varies by position Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-12 hours shift as assigned. Summary: To pull items efficiently and accurately according to customer order. Hourly Rate: $17.52/hr up to $21.10/hr hr. after 1 year of Employment Standard Work Hours: Monday through Friday- Multiple shifts available 1:00 PM to 9:30PM, 2:00PM to 10:30PM and 4:00 PM to 9:30 AM Benefits include affordable health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Pull all orders for the customer according to the prescribed picking quota as set by management. · Pull means - to go to the shelf where the product is located; identify the proper product and quantity, pull the product, and transport the product to the checking station. · Basic navigation on the computer is required · Use of voice picking and RF scanning equipment is required · Adherence to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy of facility and specific product line area is required. · Accuracy in repetitive routine is very important while maintaining good speed. · Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials. Qualifications: Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to insure proper retrieval of products for shipment, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.
