Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Load solid waste into the rear or side of waste collection vehicle

Operate equipment on truck to compact trash/materials into vehicle
Audit waste collection vehicle for proper equipment prior to leaving branch (i.e., broom, shovel, etc.).
Report all customer related problems to driver immediately
Identify, tag and notify driver of prohibited waste items and remove the items from the waste cart or can.
Follow all safety and equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all federal, state, local and company rules on safety and vehicle operation.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Extrusion Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of sound material handling practices to support Total Customer Satisfaction of both internal and external customers. Insure that all incoming and outgoing products in manufacturing are accurately documented and properly identified, moved and stored.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage central material system activities; work with supervisors, set-ups and extrusion operators regarding daily schedule and material changes. Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Support extrusion and finishing departments with material/equipment moves. Make sure extrusion lines do not run out of materials and finishing areas are changed over promptly and any materials needed are supplied in a timely manner to eliminate any un-necessary downtime.
Maintain accurate inventory controls by adhering to CPI procedures and perform material handling functions such as documentation and recordkeeping in a timely manner.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks, trays and shelves. Remove sample materials and mark them with identifying tags/information.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, by following daily housekeeping and 5S standards. Support employees with value-added activities. Continuous improvement and 5S.
Communicate all job orders and their status to other material handlers at shift change.
