Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.
Job Summary
The Part-Time PackageHandler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately and in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.
Hours and Wages
Tuesday- Saturday 5:00 AM start,
$18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed
Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities

Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently
Education and Experience
At least 16 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements

Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals

Position Summary
The Material Handler will report to the Manufacturing Cell Leader and will be responsible work from appropriate manufacturing orders, which may be in written or verbal instructions. This position needs to ensure that correct materials, quantities and conditioning are ready for production use when required. This position will need to verify that the central material handling system is operating properly and efficiently.

**Position Summary**
