Working Conditions
Continuous 24/7 plant operation. Lifting of materials and products may be required. Position requires regular stair and ladder use. Extended work weeks may be required twice a year during maintenance shutdowns.

Job Description:

This position has primary responsibility for coordinating delivery operations including routing, delivering and backhauling activities for multiple cross dock locations in northern Indiana.
Job Duties:
* Work Schedule: 5am to 3:30pm, Tuesday through Friday.
* Visit cross dock locations weekly.
* Hire, train and manage assigned delivery driver personnel
* Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy and productivity
* Oversee driver scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product
* Coordinate all safety activities for Delivery staff
* Manage the efficiency of the delivery routes using routing software
* Interface with customers solving discrepancies, problems and creating a cohesive relationship
* Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery and customer service departments.
Job Requirements
* 2 year associates degree
* 3+ years of experience in delivery operations
* Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and bar code scanning technology
* Proficient in the Use of RoadNet delivery routing software
* Familiar with GPS tracking software
* Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and internet applications
* AS400 experience preferred

Job Description
Overall Purpose and Objective of Position: This position loads and unloads products at a soybean crushing and biodiesel plant. Primary functions are to load trucks and railcars with product or unload beans in receiving whichever is assigned. Responsible for complying with all applicable Company grade incoming grain; determine whether grain is of acceptable quality and rejects those loads not meeting Company standards. Also responsible for complying with all applicable Company and government regulations.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Loads final product on to trucks and railcars to ensure timely delivery of all handled products.
Unloads grain trucks and railcars as needed to meet the plant's daily production schedules.
Inspects material handling equipment and performs routine adjustments and minor maintenance as needed.
Reports any equipment issues to Shift Leaders in a timely fashion.
Ensures compliance with Company safety rules and wears proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensures work area is kept clean and free from safety hazards which requires regular bending and occasional lifting.
Completes tasks as assigned by the Superintendents and Shift Leaders.
Actively participates in Shift/Team activities including complying with best practices, standard operating procedures, development and maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.
Actively participates in job related training as required.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Experience in the operation of skid loaders, front-end loaders and/or forklift.
(Preferred) 6 months experience truck and railcar loading and unloading, rail tank and car loading.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Ability to operate machinery and computer systems while maintaining compliance with regulatory safety requirements, e.g., OSHA (including PSM), EPA, USDA, ISO 9000 and B-Q-9000.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders as well as work at heights; manage confined space entry, withstand extended periods of walking and standing; move manufacturing materials, products and equipment of 50 pounds or more which requires bending and lifting.
Mechanical aptitude, effective communication skills, basic math and fundamental PC skills.
