**Job Summary:**
Our site located in Midland, MI is hiring immediately for entry level Material Handler roles.
As a material handler you will be responsible for the safe and timely reception, loading, transport, and storage of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies. In addition you will be responsible for the packaging and labeling of finished product and obtain samples for laboratory testing. This position operates on a rotating schedule.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Package and label finished product per work instructions.
+ Obtain required samples of finished product during packaging operations for laboratory testing.
+ Operate a fork truck to receive and stage raw materials, packaging, and other supplies.
+ Properly dispose of waste materials.
+ Observe safety procedures and protocols.
**Education & Experience:**
Required:

Key Responsibilities Production & Inventory Support
Set up and perform changeovers per daily production schedule and supervisor instructions.
Maintain stock levels for the Assembly, CNC, and Bonding departments to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Execute inventory transactions and updates within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Maintain proper stock rotation and organization in the WIP (Work-In-Process) warehouse.
Shipping, Receiving & Logistics
Pick, verify, package, and load outgoing orders using WMS.
Handle UPS shipments and prepare pallets/skids for outbound freight.
Deliver inbound freight to designated departments and match deliveries with corresponding invoices.
Unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Transport finished goods from production to the finished goods warehouse and store materials in designated bins.
Pick finished goods from pack lists for shipment, ensuring accurate count verification.
Equipment Operation & Facility Upkeep
Operate lift trucks and warehouse equipment safely; perform daily maintenance checks and housekeeping duties.
Remove plant waste that cannot be handled manually.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Quality & Compliance
Identify, document, segregate, and help evaluate non-conforming materials or products.
Follow all ISO processes, procedures, flowcharts, and quality policies.
Ensure department procedures are documented and that cross-training is maintained.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must hold a valid forklift/Hilo license (or be able to obtain one prior to employment).
Ability to regularly lift/move:
20-50 lbs occasionally
10-25 lbs frequently
