Complete daily maintenance power equipment checklist. Report defective equipment. Practices and adheres to appropriate safety, food safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection. Keeps work area clean and removes trash from work area floor. Stores supplies in designated areas. Keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions. Follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports defective equipment. Reports all job-related injuries/property damage to supervision. The Sorter is responsible for sorting through recycled materials that come into the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) as they move along the conveyor belt, inspecting items, and placing items or materials into designated area according to commodity, size, condition, and/or grade. The Material Handler I is a frontline manufacturing position responsible for accurately processes the intake, transfer, and storage of all mechanical seal components and packaging in accordance with company procedures and expected time frames.
