This role requires collaboration, strong time management and the support of a clean, organized work environment while consistently following all safety protocols and procedures. ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to) Receive, unpack, verify, record, label and distribute incoming shipments of WIP, raw materials and items tied directly to a job; inspect for accuracy and damage. Prepare outgoing shipments by ensuring accurate counts, proper labeling, packaging and documentation. Move raw materials, WIP and any items tied directly to a job between work centers, staging areas and vendor locations. Identify inventory items and allow inventory control specialist group to inventory and manage product. Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices, including LEAN and 6S initiatives. Operate forklifts or other industrial equipment to move materials and ensure timely delivery to work centers. Maintain accurate records using computer systems and manage related clerical tasks. Coordinate material flow across departments and communicate discrepancies or needs effectively. Collaborate with team members, demonstrate strong time management, and support a clean, organized work environment. Perform duties indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Most of this work is done using a Forklift (80% of the time), for stocking and maintaining inventory.
