    Job Description Building Solutions Specialist - Interiors Architectural Specification Representative Regular Full Time Full-Time Chicagoland suburbs area Join our team as a Building Solutions Specialist, an essential member of the Demand Creation team. Collaborate closely with a group of skilled professionals dedicated to providing top-tier industry and interior product expertise to Residential and Commercial Designers, Contractors and Builders. You will play a key role in our growth initiative. Your responsibility will be to recognize and capitalize on new business possibilities within your designated territory. Your interaction with accounts will be essential in product training and securing specifications, contributing to the advancement of our company's products demand and leads. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following statements: Foster and cultivate strong relationships with key industry connections, extending to all downstream customers involved in demand creation. Increase business volume with all accounts in the territory to include some national accounts. Provide continuous expertise and education to your account base through regular calls, visits, and active participation in pivotal industry organizations Ensures all merchandising and promotions are implemented including new product introductions and launches. Become the go-to expert offering product solutions and applications. Share your knowledge by educating and training customer staff and trades on product capabilities Take the lead in organizing and conducting engaging continuing education seminars for all product lines. Your goal: equipping clients with the latest knowledge and insights. Conduct comprehensive research to pinpoint pertinent projects, influential stakeholders, and decision-makers. Your goal: elevating specification frequency and generating prime leads from their customer base. Work hand in hand with Outside Sales Reps/Managers and Transactional Reps to synchronize product sales strategies Ability to develop proficiency on multiple products and stay current on trends. Pre-call planning: Skillfully navigate the CRM (Salesforce) database, extracting key details for ongoing and upcoming projects and opportunities. Use the CRM (Salesforce) software to effectively managing opportunity pipeline, log activities, keep all records up to date and following the established processes and guidelines. Experience: 5+ years of experience in the Architecture, Design, or Construction industry preferred Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Suites/Teams and Salesforce Travel Requirements: Daily travel throughout the assigned territory as designated by the Manager Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for sample delivery License: Must possess a valid driver's license.

    Job Description Parksite is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate will operate a forklift in our distribution center and pick orders using the voice picking system. Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise as well as other duties. Summary: Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the current procedures manual. Receives, stores and distributes material. tools, equipment and products within Parksite Warehouse by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned: Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to appropriate associates for processing. Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked, checked and shipped. SKU label new inbound items and move from receiving to storage areas. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Pick orders using VoCollect, leader in voice selecting technology. Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic. Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets. Maintain a clean, well-organized, safe working environment. Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate process. Assisting in counting of physical inventory and conducting regular cycle counts. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Preparing parcels for mailing. Sweeping, dusting and mopping. Wearing the proper safety equipment. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.     The Procurement Category Buyer coordinates replenishment of goods such as inventory, equipment, tools, parts and supplies. The Buyer directly impacts the margins and growth of their category through their relationships with suppliers, knowledge of market prices and thoughtful procurement decisions. This position will be on-site Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Review, manage and analyze purchase requisitions: Manages timely product review cycles and prepares purchase orders. Reviews proposals and negotiates within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. Maintains manual or computerized procurement records, such as item maintenance, services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection along with logistics personnel, suppliers, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. Communicates with supplier, changes in specification, change orders, quantities, and adjustments Track movements of all items within scope of assigned product lines. Arrange return of merchandise when necessary Supplier relations: Confers with current suppliers to determine supply capabilities, secure quotations, and negotiate prices with guidance from Director of purchasing. Actively follows-up and track purchase orders, communicating changes and status to requestors while managing vendor performance to delivery schedules, pricing terms and conditions and other contract provisions. Track & implement supplier cost adjustments and input into Pronto system. Support supplier consolidation decisions. Provide support to develop and update supplier scorecard. Support electronic exchange of data with our suppliers and other facilities. Act as company procurement expert for the assigned category: Respond to various departments within the organization who may need information regarding suppliers, products, deliveries, etc. Collaborate with Product Managers, Inside and Outside Sales teams, and General Managers on new and existing products for demand-based ordering and forecasting changes. Support the sourcing function database for any corporate-wide cost reduction program. Analyzes data to ensure data integrity; and analyzes data for changes and developing trends. Prepare periodic reports for senior management from the collected data based on personal knowledge and experience without direction or prior review. Support business planning development including re-forecasts with numbers supported by the business system. Support development and documentation of processes and controls: Track and report against Benchmarks. Assists team in cleaning up data and layout consistency within ERP system. Identify and recommend excess inventory for disposition. Create exception reports to analyze large volumes of data. Support new employee development by conducting onboarding and training: Track progress of new hire training and onboarding processes. Acts as primary point of contact during new hire training and onboarding processes. Develop and refine new hire and onboarding processes by revising accompanying documentation. Other duties that may arise in the normal course of business Qualifications and Skills: A minimum of 3 years of procurement/supply chain in a distribution environment Building material industry purchasing experience or knowledge of industry suppliers preferred Experience purchasing or managing category specific products preferred Bachelor's degree in business or Certified Supply Chain Professional preferred 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems Strong computer utilization skills for the preparation and presentation of reports and the management of data pertinent to the sourcing function, including Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize, multi-task and professionally interact with all levels of the organization.
