Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, you will operate material handling equipment, such as a forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, etc.
The Forklift Operator, Non Formula transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots, on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area and replenish/re-stock pick slots in a timely manner ensuring all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met and to maintain the efficient flow of the production process Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Locates proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into appropriate unit. Locates and performs count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
This Forklift Operator will be working primarily in the freezer. Prior freezer or food distribution experience is preferred.
Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day's work orders. Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and/or remove outdated out of date inventory according to company policy.
Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
Removes empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles. I
nspects empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area.
Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
Reviews work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
Works from receiving sheets, computer print-out, established procedures and practices, written and/or verbal instructions. Inspects items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks and take appropriate action as needed.
Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed.
Removes batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
Secures all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Scheduled work hours will be Sunday from 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5pm

Position Summary:
Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed on pallets and completed orders are moved to the loading dock staging area with an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrapped, labeled and readied for shipment in a timely manner observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform a safety check on pallet jack/forklift to be used and insure that all other safety devices are functioning properly. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store).
Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre- and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).
Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g., proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position are to analyze new business opportunities, analyze existing customer profitability and participate in new business strategy and feasibility planning. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Acquire and validate data from prospective new customers
+ Provide relevant data and direction to Distribution Services, Purchasing, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to analyze the impact of the new business
+ Validate the reasonability of the departmental input and modify it as necessary
+ Proforma the new business
+ Assist in preparation of RFP submission
+ Participate as requested in meetings with potential new customers to obtain data and explain proposals
+ Analyze the profitability of existing customers and recommend new fees upon the expiration of existing contracts
+ Proforma "what if" scenarios on ways to improve the company's profitability
+ Continually refine the proforma process to improve accuracy and timeliness
+ Participate in the company's strategic planning
+ Other duties as assigned or necessary
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
4-year degree in business, marketing or related field
**Experience**
Plus a minimum of 3 years experience of food sales in distribution/manufacturing industry
**Physical Demands**
Must be able to communicate clearly via telephone and personal contact with customers and other company personnel
Mental/Visual Demands
Must be able to read at a distance close to the eyes. Driving requires distance vision
**Travel**
Occasional travel by automobile and air is required
**Equipment Operated**

To assist fleet technicians in providing safe, reliable and cost-efficient vehicles by learning to perform quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as well as learning to perform diagnosis and repair as required to prevent breakdowns on road, reduce vehicle downtime and improve total fleet reliability.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment (Tractors, Trailers, Convertor Dollies, Lift Gates, Light Duty Vehicles) to maximize the safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of the fleet to include, but not limited to FAI/CVI (First Article Inspection/Commercial Vehicle Inspection) (Annual) Inspections,
+ Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-duty vehicles and any other company-owned equipment, perform quality maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-duty vehicles and any company-owned equipment.
+ Perform maintenance repairs on all vehicles such as inspections, scheduled repairs, malfunctions and road-call repairs in a safe, efficient, and quality manner, addressing all driver vehicle inspection report write-ups timely, efficiently and correctly the first time, diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including but not limited to engines, transmissions and clutches, drive-line, differential, steering and suspension, fuel and ignition system, exhaust systems (including regeneration systems), intake systems, electrical systems, brake systems, HVAC systems and lift-gate hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Document all work performed on Work Order (SAP) using Complaint, Cause, and Correction Format
+ Learn & develop efficiency in all Maintenance Relates Sysco Computer programs
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
+ High school diploma or Equivalent
+ Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school
+ Annual Inspector Certification Knowledge Skills and Abilities
+ Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge Skills and Abilities
+ ASE Certification - Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty
+ Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEM & component mfg
**Experience**
+ 1 year of experience with 2 Year Technical Degree OR
+ 3 years of experience in Fleet Maintenance and Repair
**Professional Skills**
+ Current and Valid Drivers License, CDL-A Preferred
+ Basic Knowledge and skill of all vehicle systems and Components
+ Basic knowledge and skill in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on all equipment
+ Basic knowledge and skill in welding and cutting (gas, electric, MIG, TIG)
+ Physical demands to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and crawl
+ Vision abilities to include Close & Distance vision, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
+ The fleet technician will have to decide if a piece of equipment is roadworthy and meets DOT regulations before being released back to operations use. This could cause operations to incur additional expenses by renting equipment but the safety of personnel and FMCR should always take precedence.
+ The fleet technician will collaborate with management to create a prioritized work schedule of all fleet equipment that will take into consideration operation needs and pm compliance to strategically place resources as needed.

Position Summary:
Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed on pallets and completed orders are moved to the loading dock staging area with an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrapped, labeled and readied for shipment in a timely manner observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
* Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
* Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform a safety check on pallet jack/forklift to be used and insure that all other safety devices are functioning properly. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
* Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
* Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
* Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.
* Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallet for staging.
* Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
