This position will be in support of the Army Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) Program and serves as an I/O for the Medical Simulation Training Center MSTC), which plans and carries out instruction/validation in accordance with accepted medical practices and established military medical and operational doctrine. The I/O will be capable of instructing a mixed population of Soldiers, both inexperienced and seasoned. The training may be conducted in a classroom or a field training/evaluation environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Engineering Estimator is responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of CNC machining processes in an aerospace/defense environment. This includes creating and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards, and addressing non-conformance issues. Additionally, the role involves managing MRB processes, creating rework instructions, and supporting quality initiatives to ensure adherence to industry standards and customer specifications, contributing to overall efficiency and quality in production operations. This position reports to the Procurement Manager at our Gilbert, AZ facility. This position is responsible for sourcing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies with vendors. This position will primarily review engineering BOMs to seek out sources new and old for cost analysis; evaluate quotes, services, quality ratings, and delivery ratings to determine the most desirable suppliers. This position works closely with sales, engineering, and materials (warehouse) by focusing on determining material costs for bid packages and proposals, while maximizing customer satisfaction. PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: * Hands-on experience with aerospace harness design, electrical interconnects, integration, and systems for aerospace equipment. * Experience working with program requirements, equipment performance specs, wire connection lists, wire gauge sizing, and connector selection. * Communicate in a clear and concise manner effectively across multiple levels. * Be team-minded and ready to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural, fast-moving, and complex/technical environment. * Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication and critical thinking and analytical skills. * Excellent attention to detail.
