Job Description Material Handler $16.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience - Maintain a safe work environment for all employees - Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis - Maintain an accurate inventory of associated hardware and kit material per order - Perform monthly audits and cycle counts - Collaborate with the material control coordinator and supervisor to determine when there are discrepancies in deliveries. - Verify all orders are complete with no quality issues. - Assist in packing and receiving department in loading and unloading product. Education and Experience - Millwork experience preferred. - High School diploma or equivalent - Computer skills - Valid Driver's license Requirements - Proper personal protective equipment is required to be worn when in the warehouse and factory. - Ability to lift over 50 lbs. - Ability to work overtime and including weekends when needed. Job DescriptionStaffworks is recruiting for 1st & 2nd shift Materials Handlers for a growing company in Sherburne, NY! 1st shift: 6:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.2nd shift: 3:45 p.m. - 2:15 a.m.Pay: $14.50/hr. for 1st shift, $.75 shift differential for 2nd shift The Material Handler will be responsible for placing the finished products from the machine onto carts to be prepped for shipment.The Material Handler will also be responsible for quality checking the wood as they're sorting and stacking each bundle.
