Position: Inspector Packer
Job Summary
Inspect and sort molded or assembled parts or products for defects, and/or deviations from specifications. Pack parts into designated packaging or pallet configurations based on customer requirements and/or standard quality specifications.
Pay: $18.50 USD/hr
Responsibilities
Pack acceptable parts into pre-defined packaging or pallet configurations according to the established quality standard.
Perform secondary operations per requirement to meet customer specifications. This may include part rework, assembly, and/or repack tasks.
Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
Mark/label completed container(s)/bundle(s) with designated item information according to the established quality standards.
Record production data accurately during shift and complete Secondary Operations documentation as required.
Remove molded parts from WIP container and perform visual inspection for conformance to established quality standards.
Maintain clean and organized work area making sure to properly discard rejected parts and to keep area free of debris.
Transfer parts in/out of the curing oven as required/instructed.
Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal 8-hour work shift.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned; sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area
Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other items and distribute to production workers.
Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and for efficient loading onto trucks/trailers.
Check all information for accurate shipment of customer orders; check bills of lading for accuracy before any product is shipped or received; check products for cleanliness and condition prior to loading.

3. Store inventory items on racks in appropriate locations and pull from racks as orders are received. Respond to handwritten notes to override computerized orders or information. Check to confirm counts of cartons on all skids prior to shipment.
4. Observe and report any equipment malfunction, questionable computer data, material or other problems to the supervisor. Observe all safety rules, regulations and practices. Employ all safety equipment and devices. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
5. Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the job.

Full-time Description
Perform various duties to receive palletized cartons of soles and heels from Finishing department, enter data into computer, print and apply labels, store stock items and stage customers' orders for shipment following standard established methods and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Receive pallets of cartons, identify by item code number and store or stage in appropriate location. Enter item code number and size into computer terminal for outstanding order display on JDE. Select order to be filled by due date and enter data into computer to produce required gummed labels. Separate, apply labels to cartons and segregate cartons to various customers' orders and ship dates or for stock.
2. Operate BT's or forklift to move pallets of cartons within the department. Operate shrink wrap machine to automatically wrap full skids in preparation for shipping.
3. Store inventory items on racks in appropriate locations and pull from racks as orders are received. Respond to handwritten notes to override computerized orders or information. Check to confirm counts of cartons on all skids prior to shipment.
4. Observe and report any equipment malfunction, questionable computer data, material or other problems to the supervisor. Observe all safety rules, regulations and practices. Employ all safety equipment and devices. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
5. Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the job.

Responsibilities:
The dockhand position requires a willingness and the ability to assist in many tasks throughout the marina, these include and are not limited to:
