SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Responsible for the labeling, staging, and picking of production. Also, responsible for load out's and receiving of all products and supplies for the butter operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to and follows the directions of the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Plant Supervisor/Foreperson.
Maintain proper rotation of the products, inventory of supplies, and of assigned items.
Properly ship all butter orders and fill out all necessary paperwork correctly.
Assure that the warehouse stays clean and orderly at all times and that yellow borders stay clean. All supplies and inventory items remain 18” from the walls.
The warehouse must remain USDA inspection ready at all times.
Aid in USDA grading.
Conduct monthly and yearly inventories.
Keep management personnel up to date on warehouse operations through verbal and written communications.
Confirm product quality is acceptable prior to shipping.
Assure that all products meet customer requirements.
Inspects all trucks prior to loading; they must be clean, free of any foreign debris, and the refer must be in working condition. Do not load any damaged product.
Aid in the training of new personnel.
Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
