Job DescriptionSalary: $18-$22 Seabreeze Marina has a fast pace and fun work environment. We are looking for a new team member that is interested in learning to run a marina forklift. We have a dry storage facility with roughly 160 boats ranging from 18ft-34ft. There is plenty of opportunity for growth. You must be comfortable working around the water and on the docks. Primarily we are busy on weekends and holidays so availability is very important on those days. We are heading into the winter time now so you also must be willing to work on special projects through the off season. As a forklift operator your primary roll is to launch and retrieve boats in a safe and timely manner. Other rolls include general help with day to day operations. For example, trash runs, general cleanliness of the property, dock upkeep, and many other various tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Receives pick assignments via radio data terminal (RDT) and enters the proper information into the RDT using the scanner or by keying the information in manually. • Assembles customer orders from storage area/pick locations and transports the orders to designated shipping doors in staging area by operating a forklift and/or pallet jack. • Verifies and reads product codes on color-coded product labels for sorting foreign or miscellaneous products. • Transports tires/products within the distribution center by operating a forklift and/or pallet jack. Helps arrange and load tires/products onto trailers. Also places tires back into stock when needed. • Counts products stacked on pallets and records proper information on puller's copy. • Maintains clean and orderly storage area which includes straightening locations; discarding debris; reporting bad stacks, foreign, damaged or mislabeled tires. • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. Delivers items to required staging area. • Loads and unloads trucks (or rail cars) and stocks products as needed. • New and other related duties as assigned.
