American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in California, requiring a current CA RN license and L&D experience.
Responsibilities
Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Care for laboring mothers and neonates, including high-risk cases
Utilizes Epic EMR system
Primary responsibilities include assessment, education, and care for laboring mothers and neonates, including high risk and routine deliveries
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
Workers may not exceed two years on assignment without a 90-day break per policy
Requirements
Current and active CA RN license required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
At least one year of recent (within the past three years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
Active BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
Documentation for last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
High-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years preferred
Five or more years of recent L&D experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
