Job Overview:
Responsible for the protection of company assets and associates. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Completion of inbound/outbound trailer logs, common carrier logs, discrepancy reports.
- Maintain access control of all who enter and exit the facility
- Respond to the alarm system
- Conduct audits on common carriers
- Monitor associate activities
- Monitor activities of visitors/truckers
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior security experience in a distribution center environment preferred
- PC Knowledge, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manual
- Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, depth perception and color vision
- Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment
- Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.

**Annual Salary starting from $109,800.00**
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Responsible for directing the Radiation Protection Technicians in implementing decontamination, instrumentation, planning and scheduling, procedures, training, radiation exposure control, and rad waste programs in support of Operation and Maintenance activities in the plant. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and state requirements. Interfaces with Plant Staff and the regulators on matters related to implementation of the Radiation Protection program.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Responsible for the daily supervision, monitoring, and coaching of employees to ensure productive work force in compliance with company policies, procedures, MARC principles, and maintaining employee relations in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement or other employee policies. (50%)
+ Responsible for the day-to-day management of the functional Radiation Protection program to ensure that work is getting completed in a timely manner and that the nuclear worker's exposure is being maintained ALARA. (20%)
+ Ensure effective communication of company programs, announcements, policies, etc. to assigned employees and feedback to the company from assigned employees. (10%)
+ Assist in the development of budgets, business plans and projects. (10%)
+ Directly supervise the Laborers/RPTs who perform routine plant cleaning and plant, equipment and tool decontamination. This includes management of the budget, hiring, training, and overseeing work in the field (5%)
+ Accountable for managing the performance of the station in the areas of plant contaminated square footage and personnel contamination events. (5%)
**JOB SCOPE**
+ Performs job observations in the field to help determine strengths and weaknesses. Uses this data to request training to better equip the Radiation Protection Technicians to combat daily and outage activities.

As a lead officer on the Asset Protection Team, you'll be responsible for executing and directing the proper implementation of the company's Shortage Control and Safety programs. You'll lead the store asset protection team in all efforts to ensure the physical protection and safety of stores customers, associates, merchandise and physical structure.
