Position: Full-Time Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician Mary Rutan Hospital, a distinguished and community-oriented healthcare provider in Bellefontaine, Ohio, invites qualified OB/GYN physicians to join our dedicated medical team. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine exams, diagnostic testing, and management of complex cases.
Perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and other minimally invasive surgeries.
Attend and manage labor and deliveries, with an average of approximately one birth per day (approximately 360 annually).
Lead and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric surgical procedures.
Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, ensuring prompt response, with hospital reporting required within 30 minutes when on call.
Travel between multiple clinic locations as needed to provide accessible patient care.
Collaborate closely with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing staff, and ancillary personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR system for documentation, order entry, and patient management.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must possess or be eligible for Ohio medical licensure and board certification in OB/GYN.
Candidates should be TRULY board eligible and actively working toward certification if within one year of graduation.
Board certification must be achieved within the specified timeframe post-employment.
Lapsed Board Certification candidates are not accepted.
Open to recent graduates who are truly board eligible and pursuing certification.
Must report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call.

Schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays - and is flexible based on needs of facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
