Essential Duties Operate various production machines will learning to set-up and troubleshoot each, including: grinders, beltsanders, presses, and basic CNC machines, etc. Load and unload high volumes of metal parts efficiently. Move parts bins on and off pallets. Visually inspect parts and learn to use basic inspection tools. Read and follow verbal and written instructions to identify and produce work. Accurately record production into computer. Participate in continual improvement teams and activities. Comply with all safety requirements including but not limited to good housekeeping. Very reliable and punctual work attendance. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent plus hands-on mechanical aptitude and skills. Experience in manufacturing ideal but any mechanically related experience with basic math skills may qualify. Must be able to understand spoken and written English well; bilingual Spanish ideal.
