Lehigh Acres, FL TempExperts is seeking a Machine Operator for a thriving Lehigh Acres company! Must have manufacturing heavy machine operation experience. **Overnight PM shift available - must have flexibility to work over the weekend** This employee will be responsible for assisting in maintenance, clean up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, material-handling, and potentially assisting machine operators or production teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Handling assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned. Keeping work area clean: including machines, conveyors, machinery, floors, etc. Using security at all times and follow all safety regulations. Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately. Loading and unloading of trucks. Verify loads leaving the premises. Maintain, verify, and count product inventory. Operating machinery or equipment as trained and instructed, following safety guidelines at all times. While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Pressman, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. What You'll Be Doing: Can mount printing plates, cylinders, and dies into the printing press, and fill the dye font with ink. Load the flexographic press with the material that is going to be printed on. Splicing and feed of material in press. Can lift materials that can weigh at least 10 pounds and weigh over 100 pounds. Must be able to read job orders that gives them specific instructions on what the printing should look like when complete. Fulfills the print run length requirements of the job. Achieve color match and ensure the content of the print matches the target proof or guide. Operator is responsible for producing the entire printing job correctly. Cleaning the work area that surrounds the printer as well as maintain cleanliness of the press. Maintain productivity standards per position for Setup time, waste, press run time chart. Maintain Quality standards per position requirements-see chart. We'd love to hear from you if: At least 2+ years' experience as pressman Finished training on press setup and press operation.
