Compensation:
$19 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses (water-based inks)
Read and interpret job tickets, plate layouts, and print specifications
Perform color matching and registration adjustments to ensure consistent quality
Monitor print quality throughout the run and make necessary press adjustments
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of press equipment
Assist in plate changes, ink changes, and material setup
Work safely and follow the company's production and quality standards
Communicate with the production and QC team regarding any concerns or issues
Qualifications:
2+ years of flexo press operation experience (preferred)
Wide-web or narrow-web background acceptable
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Ability to lift and move rolls of paper and related materials (up to ~50 lbs)
Ability to stand for extended periods

Read and follow Job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and pounds, machining instruction such as feed rate, cutting speeds, closing speeds and determine sequence of operations.
Document and keep logs, routings and various forms updated.
Fill bags with resin to required weight and stage at the proper location. Scrap, clean, spray mold release, fill, and level the press.
Sort and test material to ensure it is UHMW-PE prior to grinding, milling and putting in stock. Load chipper with correct materials.
Set up and operate the CNC saw and planer, pull the required quantity of sheets, ensure the part numbers are the same, and machine to the specifications of the job traveler.
Operate fork lift proficiently. Follow safety regulations.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Report problems or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
