Injection OperatorInjectionOperator performs a variety of tasks requiring knowledge of injection processes and responsible for day-to-day operations associated an array of PET and HDPE injection equipment and its auxiliary equipment. *(Niagara purchases primarily Husky, but also other OEMs).
Essential Functions
Responsible for overall preparation, set-up, starting and running injection equipment.
Ability to perform minor adjustments to injection equipment as directed. No mechanical work is to be performed without prior approval.
Responsible for accurately completing and updating information forms and logs such as Injection preform and/or cap daily log, destruction logs and quality forms.
Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and actions and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operations. Personal protective equipment is to be used where required.
Performs visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure production meets quality standards.
Housekeeping: maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production, including the break rooms and rest rooms.
Raw materials: Be able to define the difference between Vpet, Rpet & HDPE resins. Ability to identify parts safe for grinding and reintroduction to the resin system.
Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards; accurately filling out inspection sheets based on overall production quality. Responsible for recognizing and reporting all quality defects immediately.
Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision; perform relief duties when required
Ability to troubleshoot minor production equipment issues in all areas and collaborate with maintenance team as necessary.
Understanding of computer systems such as Shotscope, Electirc80, Ignition and others.
Comprehension of line flow and manufacturing process to maximize through put.
Ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

The Production Operator II is responsible for tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. The Production Operator will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Assemble circuits requiring fine hand assembly
Check final assembly for finish, labelling and packaging methods
Check mechanical dimensions and perform go-no-go electrical tests
Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems
Collect, record, and summarize inspection results
Complete manual assembly, cleaning, testing, inspection work as per work instructions
Prepare and sort material as per work instruction, load/unload material onto machine or manual workstations
Connect cables, tubes and wires to complete assemblies and installations
Operate and tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic and fixed automation equipment
Conduct cosmetic, functional inspection as per work instruction, Mark, record, and report defects
Clean and perform preparation of worksite, workstation, and machines
Work with equipment operators to facilitate machine alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery equipment, and materials
Completion of other duties and projects as assigned
Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct

Job Summary
Responsible for processing products through the final stages of the printing process, encompassing tasks of wrapping, padding, stitching, and packaging printed materials to create finished products ready for shipment, using both machinery and manual techniques. Key Duties/Responsibilities
Operates bindery equipment as necessary including the stitcher, drill, padder, strapper and shrink wrap machine. 15%
Pulls and processes all necessary paperwork. 10%
Ensures quality and accuracy of printed products. Fans first and last cells of run. Compares run of printed products to run header sheet (proofread). Checks names, numbers, statements, wording etc. on printed products. 15%
Build boxes as necessary. Places order in box, inserts any necessary flyers and places correct mailing label on box and seals the box. 20%
Scans boxed order into system, either FedEx, UPS or USPS. Prints out label from computer. 20%
Matches printout label to boxed label to ensure correctness and places the labeled box onto pallet. 15%

An Operator is one of the key members of our production team. Daily responsibilities include safely operating roll formers, coil slitters, and flat sheet shears. The finished product is quality metal roofing and wall panels.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Operating a roll former to produce metal roof and side panels
Checking and visually inspecting produced panels against specifications to ensure a defect free product has been produced
Installing panel dies during tooling change and adjusting to panel specifications
Entering production quantities for each order into computer system
Operating a forklift for positioning coils at un-coiler
Operating overhead cranes to load coil stock
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed
Qualifications
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to work independently and with others
High school diploma or GED
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
