Review findings on solder inspection station before passing or failing printed circuit boards. Inspect deposited solder paste and populated PWB's to applicable workmanship standards. Maintain all tooling (Stencils, pallets etc) updating records and replacing old or worn-out tooling. Performs or assists with full machine set-ups including transferring programs to specific machines. Responsible for reading, interpreting and performing set up and/or prep instructions. Initiate and maintain accurate paperwork and records as required by job. Meet hourly production goals and facilitate speedy resolution of machine problems as they arise. Responsible for daily clean up of all assigned work areas. Monitor machine line balance to achieve run rates and report to line supervision. Responsible for monitoring, minimizing and reporting machine scrap. Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot functional problems with equipment and make adjustments as required. Completes other duties as requested. Minimum of one year of SMT or relevant experience is strongly preferred Education- Must be a High school graduate or have your GED Computer literate. Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards. Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers and scales. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and written work instructions. Must be willing to schedule, attend, and pass continuing training courses. May be required to pass solder training class to operate certain pieces of equipment... May be required to do heavy lifting (not to exceed 30 lbs.) on some operations. Must maintain ESD Precautions Standards certification.
