Ability to run all grade crew equipment and maintain daily and properly.
Be able to finish lime rock to FDOT specs

Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test

This is the first step in manufacturing aluminum trailers. Must recognize and be conscious of quality, tolerance and accuracy of finished parts. Will operate ( brake press, benders, saws, belt sanders, CNC milling centers, and a shear ) in order to fill job orders. Will deburr, blow out all parts, stack and band all finished parts. Will operate and maintain set ups on special purpose machines where operations may involve several progressive machining sequences, and will give instructions on operating procedures. Requires complete knowledge of machine shop operations as acquired by on-the-job training and experience. Operation responsibility includes but are not limited to verifying blueprints, 1st piece inspections, proper measurements, safety of equipment operator is using, accurate count of parts and proper documentation on job orders. The work is repetitive and subject to processes inspection.
Position Duties:
Reads job order and blueprint specifications.
Set up machinery for jobs to run efficiently with all parts checked to blueprint and job order.
Operate machinery efficiently while maintaining 1st piece inspection on all parts, all 1st piece inspections are checked to the job order and blueprint.
Demonstrate timely communication of needed materials.
Responsible for the safety of the equipment he/she is using. Responsible for notifying supervisor of any and all repairs needed.
Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality. Double check job order to finished part.
Must be able to follow directives and procedures and complete paperwork.
Ensure no material is used or moved unless it has a part number on it.
All counts must be consistently accurate.
Work area must be maintained as clean and organized.
Work in compliance with all safety, quality and housekeeping standards in accordance with company policies.

Required Education:
A high school and/or GED is preferred.
Must be able to read tape measure and follow a job order.
Good math skills are required, must be able to give accurate counts. Must pass a measuring test.
Must be able to read blueprints, must pass a blueprint reading test with 85% accuracy or higher.
Good verbal and written communication skills are required, must have legible penmanship.
Training:
Requires a fundamental knowledge of machine shop operations as required by short job training and experience.
Must have some direct experience setting up some or all of the machines, brake press, punch press, drill press, benders, saws, belt sanders, shear, and CNC milling centers.
Prefer direct experience instructing others and working as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Physically fit to perform lifting assignments with a weight limit of no more than 40lbs.

As a Machine Operator you will operate, set-up, program and maintain assembly machines and equipment used to produce various production assemblies. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff. Will identify and resolve equipment/process related defects. Examples of this equipment are (but not limited to) the following: SMT, Wave & Selective Solder machines, Auto Insertion, component prep, wire cutting machines and other automated or semi-automated equipment.
What a Day Looks Like:
Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized.
Employees assigned to job tasks which require them to handle hazardous waste (Wave/ERSA Maintenance/Cleaning, Cathode Room Operator, Chemical Handler, Spray Room, and Facilities Supervisor), will be required to complete Hazardous Waste Management Training, Respirator Safety Training, Respirator Fit Test, and Lead and/or Respirator Surveillance annually.
Set up oven with appropriate programs as indicated by documentation.
Perform part verification using bar code scanner and computer program.
Review findings on solder inspection station before passing or failing printed circuit boards.
Inspect deposited solder paste and populated PWB's to applicable workmanship standards.
Maintain all tooling (Stencils, pallets etc) updating records and replacing old or worn-out tooling.
Performs or assists with full machine set-ups including transferring programs to specific machines.
Responsible for reading, interpreting and performing set up and/or prep instructions.
Initiate and maintain accurate paperwork and records as required by job.
Meet hourly production goals and facilitate speedy resolution of machine problems as they arise.
Responsible for daily clean up of all assigned work areas.
Monitor machine line balance to achieve run rates and report to line supervision.
Responsible for monitoring, minimizing and reporting machine scrap.
Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot functional problems with equipment and make adjustments as required.
Completes other duties as requested.
Requirements

Minimum of one year of SMT or relevant experience is strongly preferred
Education- Must be a High school graduate or have your GED
Computer literate.
Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards.
Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers and scales.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and written work instructions.
Must be willing to schedule, attend, and pass continuing training courses.
May be required to pass solder training class to operate certain pieces of equipment...
May be required to do heavy lifting (not to exceed 30 lbs.) on some operations.
Must maintain ESD Precautions Standards certification.

Job Title: Machine Operator
Role and Responsibilities:
This position requires flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and some weekends in shift rotations covering a 24/7 operation (day / night shifts). There will be a training and application period to learn all facets of the process, end to end. The Operator reports directly to the Production Supervisor. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Corrugated plastic pipe or extrusion machinery/mechanical expertise
Manage the downstream process, personnel, and equipment
Proactively manage engagement with maintenance team for planned and reactive maintenance of production equipment
The ability to run and change over all diameter of pipe with minimal downtime, including root cause diagnostics
Perform and analyze quality control monitoring and accurate reporting of production
Perform tooling changeovers in an efficient manner
Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines
Maintain facility housekeeping
Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment
Document all procedures, processes, and operations for replication and future use
Execute quality control and testing
Manage product input flows and inventory levels
Train and organize downstream staff
Meet or exceed facility housekeeping expectations
Understand, practice, and align decisions with SeC core values
Competencies:
