Role Description
We are seeking an entry-level Specimen Processing Assistant to support our diagnostic laboratory team at our on-site facility in Framingham, MA. This full-time role involves receiving, processing, and organizing biological specimens, ensuring adherence to laboratory protocols and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, utilizing laboratory tools and software, and collaborating with colleagues to streamline workflows and uphold compliance.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive and triage all patient specimens for testing.
Accession and manage patient information within the LIMS.
Collaborates with clinical Coordinators to verify missing patient/sample information.
Biobanking: sorts samples and distributes them to the appropriate storage.
Maintains designated laboratory equipment.
Prepares samples for processing.
Uses various laboratory computer systems for labeling, inquiry, results as needed.
Disposes of bio-hazardous and chemical waste in the accessioning room.
Assists with department quality and process improvement projects.
Sets up supplies for the assigned work area
Discards specimens as needed.
Upholds all CLIA, CAP, NYS and other state regulations, as required.
Call patients to verify and confirm personal information to identify samples
Ensure accuracy of patient details in the lab's database, and update any discrepancies or changes.
Update and document patient records in the Salesforce system
Follow all HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality protocols to protect patient information at all times.

Position Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare required disclosures.
Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information.
Verify that vendor orders are complete, invoices are received and in the applicant's E-file.
Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times.
Assist set-up of loans.
Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log.
Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors and other processing personnel.
Assist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing to obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from CrossCountry Mortgage investors.
Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
Qualifications and Skills:

The Direct Consumer Loan Processer reviews all direct (branch and web originated) consumer loan applications for completeness, reaches out to applicants for outstanding items and information, submits completed applications to the Underwriters, and informs applicants of loan decisions. Primary responsibility is to prepare accurate legal documentation in accordance with Bank policies/procedures and to facilitate loan closings directly with the client and/or vendors, which includes routine to complex transactions. The role requires the individual to work with various vendors to perform due diligence (property appraisal, flood and hazard insurance, title, etc) to perfect the security interest in the various types of collateral pledged to the Bank by the borrower as security for a loan or line of credit.

Responsibilities:
Establish relationships with clients by communicating with them throughout the process via phone, email, and text.
Put clients at ease by being available to answer questions while working closely with Northpoint employees to efficiently set up and move files through the loan process.
Set up and disclose new loan files, request, review and explain necessary documents including initial disclosures with clients.
Communicate with clients throughout the loan process, advising them of loan status and addressing any questions or concerns.
Follow up on necessary documents and set deadlines to create urgency to advance files quickly through the process.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
