SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Vice President of Claims, this position is responsible for manual input and adjudication of claims submitted to the health plan. The ideal candidate will need to interpret and utilize capitation contracts, payor matrixes, subscriber benefit plan, and provider contracts; as well as resolving customer service inquiries, status calls, andclaim tracers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Data enter paper claims into EZCAP.
• Review and interpret provider contracts to properly adjudicate claims.
• Review and interpret Division of Financial Responsibility (DOFR) for claims processing.
• Perform delegated duties in a timely and efficient manner. • Verify eligibility and benefits as necessary to properly apply co-pays.
• Understands eligibility, enrollment, and authorization process. • Knowledge of prompt payment guidelines for clean and unclean claims
• Process claims efficiently and maintains acceptable quality of at least 95% on reviewed claims.
• Meets daily production standards set for the department.
• Prepares claims for medical review and signature review per processing guidelines.
• Identify the correctly received date on claims, with knowledge of all time frames for meeting compliance for all lines of business.
Maintains good working knowledge of system/internet and online tools used to process claims
• Good knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10, and Revenue Codes, including modifiers.
• Assist customer service as needed to assist in claims resolution on calls from providers.
• Research authorizations and properly selects appropriate authorization for services billed.
• Coordinate with the claims clerks on issues related to the submission and forwarding of claims determined to be financial responsibility of another organization.
• Coordinate Benefits on claims for which member has another primary coverage
• Run monthly reports.

Required Knowledges and Skills
* A Minimum of 3 years' experience in a loan processing environment of a financial institution.
* General knowledge of a variety of loan processing systems.
* Good knowledge of a variety of loan structures and document formats.
* General knowledge of bank and loan compliance and legal documentation.
* Commercial lending preferred but not required.
* Fiserv Precision experience is preferred.

Position Overview:
The Bilingual Loan Processor is responsible for providing quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation to underwrite the loan and orders third party documentation by communicating directly with the customer and/or Loan Officer. The Bilingual Loan Processor provides proper disclosures when required by applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower's credit, employment, income, and assets as required by the loan program before submitting to underwriting.
* Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
* Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
* Complete the required loan checklist.
* Verify that an application is complete and accurate; identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting.
* Prepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure the accuracy of all the information printed on the documents; communicate directly with the Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter to obtain initial and any missing documentation required to qualify for the loan.
* Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare required disclosures.
* Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information.
* Verify that vendor orders are complete, invoices are received and in the applicant's E-file.
* Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times.
* Assist set-up of loans.
* Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log.
* Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors and other processing personnel.
* Assist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing to obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from CrossCountry Mortgage investors.
* Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5 years' residential mortgage processing experience.
* Experience with Encompass.
* Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including but not limited to Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents, preferred.
* Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
* Excellent math and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
* Fluency in the languages of Spanish and English in order to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, of whom may speak only English or Spanish.
