Government Claims Processor/Examiners are a key part of the department's successful operation. Processor/Examiners are in daily contact with team members, clients and providers. We are recruiting a Direct Loan Processor to join our highly reputable client at their corporate office in Sacramento. The Direct Loan Processor is responsible for the fulfillment operations of new consumer loan applications through the direct lending channels.
The ideal candidate will have previous banking/financial institution experience and prior consumer loan processing experience. This is a six-month contract opportunity with the potential to be hired full-time!
Pay: $22.00/Hour (DOE)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct member interviews and gather information to satisfy loan conditions.
Audit various operational documents, including executed loan documents, and reports to ensure proper procedural compliance, accuracy, and authenticity.
Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations.
Meet performance standards comparable to grade level in funded loan and/or e-mail volume, and phone efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Perform support functions such as e-mail correspondence, consumer loan fulfillment, audit, call escalations, or other.
Results oriented including a willingness to take on any task required to meet or exceed team goals and objectives.
Perform financial analysis of personal and corporate tax returns and applicable schedules, 4506T forms, W-2s, and pay stubs.
Ability to identify potential fraud, suspicious activity, and identity theft.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of experience in customer service or transaction processing preferred; background in call center or consumer lending environments is a strong plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Possess and use sound judgment.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Working knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office software or other standard office equipment.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Description:
Reporting to the Outlet Operations Manager, the Salvage Processor is responsible for assisting in the overall processing of salvage materials at one of the Goodwill outlet locations. The Salvage Processor will process materials that are being recycled from our stores and sold out of our outlets or to salvage vendors. This position will have a variety of responsibilities including moving, sorting, rotating and disposing of salvage materials. The Salvage Processor is continually upholding and advancing the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sorts and grades salvage materials by separating into quality level (Outlet or Salvage).
Rotates salvage tables into and out of the outlet sales floor.
Moves salvage materials to the various stations of the salvage process.
Manually places salvage materials into various machines of the salvage process.
Assists with operating the tippers, compactors and balers during the salvage process.
Adheres to all Goodwill safety requirements which includes wearing (Personal Protective Equipment) PPE while processing salvage at all times.
Performs housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of processing area, interior and exterior of the facility.
Performs necessary record keeping pertaining to daily activities and other reports as needed in a neat and legible manner.
Provides necessary customer service while projecting a positive image during public contact.
Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
Ensures compliance with all Goodwill Industries Sacramento Valley Northern Nevada policies, CARF standards, and safety and security regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
