Job Description The Wares Processor is responsible for production in the hard lines department. This individual will price and tag / label products according to standard operating procedures. They will also provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment. This position may also be cross-trained and responsible for additional duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately assess and sort hard line products based on quality standards. Accurately tag and label products based on pricing guide system. Generates a minimum of 8,000.00 in store sales from items produced during every two week production period. Maintains a production minimum of 40 totes per day. Continuously put forth effort in increasing and demonstrating knowledge of hard line items. Push, place, and maintain merchandise on the sales floor. Ensure safety procedures are followed during packing and movement of equipment. Responsible for reviewing/ following production schedule / directions to determine type and quantity of vinegar to produce. Assist with startup, prepare equipment and materials, monitor and shut down each phase of the batch operation. Make routine field inspections of the tanks, pumps meters, valves, lines and motors to assure that all systems in the process are in working order. Assist with troubleshooting abnormal conditions and notify appropriate personnel as situation dictates. Monitor production processes through system, determine problems and adjust to maintain desired operating conditions. Assist with conducting periodic laboratory analysis to monitor processes and log results. Basic knowledge of acetator, fermentation, and Romicon operations. Conduct cleaning procedures of all work areas following the master cleaning schedule. Unload/load liquid bulk shipments making sure they are accurately logged. Complete production reports.
