About The Position:
Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely funding and disbursement of consumer loans (auto, personal, unsecured, secured, etc.). About The Position
The Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for providing support to all aspects of mortgage servicing including customer service, account administration, cash management, investor reporting, escrow maintenance, loss mitigation, default management and liquidation. Timely and accurate task completion is essential to the servicing of our customer accounts. This position works closely with other departments in the organization and must maintain high quality service standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Ensure prompt and accurate application of mortgage loan payments received which also include payoff transactions.
Resolve servicing concerns including error resolution by understanding the customers concern, determining root cause, and providing the best solution to the customer. This includes escalations to management as needed.
Perform account administration functions including producing required notice mailings to borrowers, loan onboarding, ARM adjustments, property preservation, and lien releases.
Perform escrow management including balancing and payment of property taxes, hazard insurance, flood insurance, and private mortgage insurance. This also includes working closely with borrowers to manage insurance loss draft claims.
Perform default management functions including investor reporting and supporting borrowers through loss mitigation, foreclosure, and other hardship solution options based on investor guidelines.
Monitor and ensure proper task execution for bankruptcy filings.
Stay educated on investor guideline updates and work with management to ensure updates are documented timely within company procedures.
Qualifications
6 months Customer service experience required
Mortgage Servicing experience preferred
Loss Mitigation or Collections experience preferred
Payment processing and balancing experience preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Programs (Word/Advanced Excel/Outlook)
Strong ability to multi-task
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when performing all job functions
Time management skills and organizational skills when gathering information and processing documentation
Previous work experience demonstrates a positive fit into the Greater Nevada Mortgage culture
