Duties/Responsibilities: * Understanding how to retrieve and interpret a blueprint drawing * Understanding of 5S principles * Issuing repair slips for valves that fail testing * Identifying non-conforming parts * Perform basic testing and setup procedure of different products * Daily preventative maintenance of test stand such as checking oil levels, changing filters, checking connections for leaks, and housekeeping of working are * Developing knowledge of Sun product lines and learning how to test and setup more complex valve models * Communicating progress of incomplete work orders and issues to next shift Required Skills/Abilities: * Willingness to learn and grow through Sun Hydraulics * Ability to diagnose minor mechanical issues * Team player mentality * Excellent attention to detail * Positive attitude * Ability to function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Ability to prioritize work orders Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent is preferred * Car maintenance experience is a plus * Manufacturing experience is a plus Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods of standing * Prolonged period of sitting * Ability to lift 50 pounds at times

What You'll Be Doing * Monitor bottle indexing on conveyor systems through the filling process * Monitor and document all Quality-related items (Hourly updates on production boards, Component verification to ensure correct product is produced, Bottle and label visual inspection for accurate packaging of product, verifying date code labeling correctness, Product verification, Weight checks on filled bottles) * Strong communication skills regarding machine problems and quality requirements * Ability to start and stop equipment and identify basic mechanical issues & adjust machine setups (Fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, case erectors, palletizers) * Follow all safety requirements including using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment - PPE (safety glasses, required footwear, hearing protection, hand protection, correct lifting methods, etc.) * Support all changeover requirements of commodity products (changing caps, line clearance, assisting mechanics with changeovers) * Make tank switches and understand & execute the valve change process What You'll Bring * Minimum of high school degree or equivalent * No prior manufacturing experience required, but preferred * Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn machine operation in a fast-paced production environment * Able to work scheduled overtime or shift changes when required * Basic math skill set * Able to lift 40 pounds periodically throughout the manufacturing shift and meet physical requirements of position including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, reaching with both hands/arms, ability to visually inspect product * Mechanically inclined to perform minor machine corrections within job responsibilities What You Will Get KIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
