Role & Responsibilities: Mahaffy Operator * Ensure all tray cavities are filled with proper components and correct count, appropriately placed, and have no debris or smear in the seal * Make adjustments and corrections as needed to ensure the quality of the packages * Monitor equipment and make necessary adjustments to stay within defined parameters * Ensure proper film registration and machine performance * Navigate and maintain accurate OEE information * Maintain housekeeping requirements in the area, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment as needed and at shift end. * Complete and verify proper start-up/shutdown procedure Thurne * Operate Thurne meat slicer ensuring proper meat stacking, weight control, and proper feed rate * Strip casing from meat sticks, monitor weights, load slicer * Verify code date and OM number of the meat versus BOM/OM schedule information * Perform duties to ensure proper operation and sanitation of the slicer during production Ishida/Raque * Maintain component weights and adjust as needed for Ishida and Raque fillers * Navigate Ishida controls and make proper adjustments as needed * Verify code date and OM number of material versus BOM/schedule information Sanitation: * Responsible for the sanitation of all related machinery, workstation equipment, floors, and drains, including disassembly and transporting parts offline for cleaning and reassembly after cleaning. * Will perform a post-cleaning inspection of areas cleaned. * Responsible for the disposal of all trash and recyclable materials in the production area. * Responsible for the removal of all products and components from the work area and place in appropriate storage areas prior to the beginning of sanitation activities. * Responsible for the knowledge, use, and safe handling of all chemicals and associated equipment used in the line and surrounding areas' cleaning, rinsing, and sanitation * Periodic cleaning of the Lunchables room and all related material and storage areas. Cheese Depositor * Operate Cheese depositor ensuring proper cheese weight control and proper feed rate * Open cheese bags and fill depositor * Verify the code date and OM number of the cheese versus BOM/OM schedule information * Perform duties to ensure proper operation and sanitation of Cheese depositors during production Job Specifications * Must become LO/TO Certified * Must follow all plant and company GMP/PPE guidelines for the Lunchables area * Must become certified /licensed in the operation of Big Joe/Walkie, Scissors Lift, Fall Protection, ladder use, and perform required daily safety inspections and battery change as needed * Maintain a safe work record * Ensure all required supplies/components are available at workstation for trays needing to be corrected prior to sealing * Communicate equipment performance and any issues with following shifts operator/GL * Monitor and correct/ fill missing components, incorrect counts, and place orientation * Ensure no debris or smear in the seal * Perform all additional duties as directed by the shift supervisor/GL or management. * Keep work areas neat during shift and at shift end; ensure all product/debris is removed before sanitation and or following shift * Successfully complete current written and hands-on testing requirements for all BR4 classified equipment within 45 days probationary period * Maintain a level of professionalism and leadership assumed by bracketed positions * Perform all duties as assigned by management * Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions * Communication of any quality issues or concerns Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 - 100 pounds. Position Summary We're seeking reliable Machine Operators skilled in CNC machinery and/or brake press operation to join our growing fabrication team. Operators will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring production equipment to shape, cut, bend, and finish metal components to strict specifications. This role supports end-to-end fabrication processes within GTI's advanced manufacturing environment, contributing to production efficiency, quality output, and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines (e.g., milling, routing, punching) according to work orders and engineering drawings. Set up and operate press brake equipment for bending and forming sheet/plate metal to required dimensions and angles. Load and align tooling, fixtures, and program parts based on engineering specs. Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to tolerances using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Qualifications Required Prior experience operating CNC machines and/or press brakes in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
