Ability to wear protective safety equipment for a 12- hour shift; including hard hat, gloves, long sleeves, safety glasses, protective footwear, and ear plugs. Ability to stand/ walk for long periods of time. Ability to operate a forklift up to 50% of shift. Ability to team lift (2 person lift) 60lbs several times during shift. Ability to single lift 30-40lbs up repeated several times during shift. Ability to lift, twist, push, pull. EDUCATION, Experience and TRAINING Education: High School Diploma or GED. (active pursuit of GED considered) Experience: 1 year related experience or training. Experience with a fork lift. Ability to apply concept of basic math skills. Plastic compounding experience is preferred. The salary range for this position is $20.50 -$21.00 per hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
