What you'll be working on
Production operators tend machines such as fillers, labelers, packaging, cappers, palletizers, etc. used for bottling water. They will operate manufacturing equipment in an efficient and safe manner while ensuring package and product quality.
· Performs basic machine operations to include; operating machines, stacking raw material, handling finished product cases, performing quality inspections and minor machine adjustments.
· Monitors the flow of outgoing finished goods and correct any disturbance in the flow of those goods.
· Cleans equipment and line continually throughout the shift and maintains a clean work area.
· Expedites repairs to the line; working with maintenance as necessary.
· Keeps daily records of down time and machine operations.
· Follows standard operating procedures for all operations.
· Maintains clean, orderly and safe work area at all times
· Must follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices.

What You'll Be Doing
The Fill Production Technician I is a Salaried Non-Exempt position which contributes to our mission of saving and sustaining lives by supplying, operating, and maintaining various equipment in the Fill areas. Additional tasks will include the performance and documentation of all quality checks for responsible equipment as well as inspection of product at all times.
Operate, monitor and make adjustments as necessary to manual and automated filling equipment and machines using controls on an electrical control panel (HMI) or by way of manual adjustments.
Set-up load and replenish production supplies by use of a powered industrial truck (PIT) at a rate consistent with production needs.
Perform minor routine and preventative maintenance such as alignment adjustments, replacement of machine parts or belts, cleaning and lubrication while supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Reconcile headcount needed on a per shift basis based on schedule production demands.
Perform scheduled quality checks, disposition product, identify any deviations that may occur and take the appropriate action to include stopping production on the machine if necessary.
Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are being met.
Complete batch/code changes, tank changes, as well as sub lots as needed.
Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or POMS system.
Investigate, identify and correct or escalate any inefficiency in the machine's performance including mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup issues.
Develop standard work for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers.
Read blueprints and use tools to measure the product, ensuring the output meets specifications, making adjustments/repairs as needed.
Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities.
Assist in Quality Improvement or VIP programs if required.
Work with Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor to coordinate training requirements for line staff.
Train new associates on responsible processes.
Ensure the proper use, care, and storage of tools and equipment.
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur.

This is a second shift position schedule 4x10 Monday-Thursday, 4:15 pm to 2:45 am.
What You Will Learn: Machine Operator 1 - Ability to operate a variety of production machines. Machines may include Grit blast, bake and detailer, etc. This position will require performing routine operations. Working on the production line you will produce blades and or vanes as well as perform all quality checks. These positions require shift work and ability to work overtime when needed.
What You Will Do:
Perform daily standard work and perform complex operations successfully and adhere to standard work and all work instructions while performing tasks
Read and interpret process sheets, gage, Deburr and clean parts, make minor offset changes (if required), change set ups and document information on check sheets, keep dimensional data on run charts, frequently utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specification(s), run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product per standard work
Clock labor in Solumina, perform Daily Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) and document results
Keep equipment and work area clean (5S).
Frequently move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment (approximately 90% of the time), bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds
May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skills - Responsibilities are not limited to the listed items above and can be changed or modified based on skill level, proficiency, and overall performance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS Diploma/GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Knowledge of machining methods, tooling, speeds, and feeds
Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification

Responsibilities:
Assemble product components and sub -assemblies for laboratory equipment and medical devices.
Read and follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and wiring schematics.
Use hand and power tools such as drills, rivet guns, and presses.
Perform quality checks and testing to ensure every unit meets our high standards.
Record data in our SAP system for production tracking and inventory management.

Requirements
