Overview
The Production Assembler will use a variety of hand and power tools and fixtures to correctly assemble various fire extinguisher parts and pack according to specifications. This position regularly works 4:30 P.M. - 3:00 A.M. Monday through Thursday. Mandatory overtime on Fridays will be required. *Second shift receives a shift differential of $0.80/hr.
Responsibilities
Utilize hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with company work and safety rules, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Demonstrate manual dexterity - the ability to precisely assemble parts/assemblies on fast paced production line.
Comprehend and follow blueprints, work instructions, EHS, and job procedures, JSA's, and applicable paperwork.

Our Sanitation Worker will complete the daily and master sanitation schedule for a warehouse environment. Fulfills the daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly sanitation schedule which includes:
Maintaining the warehouse spaces in a clean and orderly condition.
Cleaning and organizing bathrooms and break rooms.
Mopping floors, cleaning sinks, washing walls, and windows.
Removing trash and recycling from all areas daily including shredding.
Communicating immediately to the department manager, department leader, or other managers of any situation that may impact employee and/or product safety.
Performing inspections of pest control devices, logs, and notifying supervisor of any activity.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age and a High School diploma or GED required.
At least (1) year of warehouse cleaning experience or similar role
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Must be able to lift moderate weight (up to 50lbs at times), ability to continuously stand and walk for up to 8 hours, ability to bend, stoop, and squat down.
Ability to work in a cold environment with temperatures from 34 -55 degrees.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and/or drug screening.
This is a first shift position, from 6
AM-2PM.
The starting salary for this position is $15.00 per hour plus an additional $5.09 per hour in cash fringe benefits for a maximum hourly rate of up to $20.09.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
* Operate machinery used in the production process following company safety guidelines and policies.
* Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards; observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected.
* Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
* Verify counts on finished products to determine if product orders are complete; mark or tag identification on parts; load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
* Assist helpers performing duties of lesser skill by delegating job tasks, giving time constraints to all work procedures thru out the manufacturing processes, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
* Record information such as the number of products tested, production readings, and dates and times of productproduction.
* Start machines or equipment in order to begin production processes.
* Separate products according to weight, grade, size, and composition of materials used to produce them.
* Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
* Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines.
* Pack and store materials and products.
* Tie products in bundles for further processing or shipment, following prescribed procedures.
* Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks.
* Signal coworkers to direct them to move products during the production process.
* Prepare raw materials for processing.
* Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained
* Clean and maintain work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, and products.
* Separate defective products for reprocessing.
* Change machine knives, using wrenches and applicable tools.
* Wear many hats and may be asked to assist with other areas in the shop/office/warehouse.
* Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: Machine operator experience of some type or has been trained on specific machine processes
Computer Skills: Ability to be trained to learn basic computer skills, as well as to become proficient in company specific software.

Flex-Force(Part-Time) Warehouse Order Puller
This position will be part-time/temporary with a flexible schedule. Individuals will choose which shifts they want to work prior to the work week. Available shifts include but are not limited to:
Monday-Friday: 12 PM - 5 PM
5 PM - 10 PM
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Position Objective:
The Warehouse Order Pullers are responsible for efficient, safe and accurate loading of the delivery trucks and performing the assigned warehouse maintenance tasks.
Description of Physical Tasks:
Keep all warehouse load areas and grounds clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Fills racks, pushes/pulls pallets and loads appropriate company products. Climbing on and off forklifts.
Responsibilities Include
Must report to work on time and clock in and out properly.
Prior to starting the loading process, review the total quantity to be pulled and the truck it is to go on. Discuss any space concerns with the Load Crew Manager.
Build loads for each order in the most efficient manner.
Pull and load the exact amounts given through the voice picking system or system generated pick sheets.
Ensure loads are done accurately and neatly.
Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.
Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.
Load all carts/pallets onto appropriate route truck.
Load the product on each truck properly to prevent damage.
Clean all areas before leaving at the end of your shift, keeping work area clean.
Clear the pick area of debris and stretch wrap at the end of the truck loading process each night.
Prior to the end of your shift each night ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored.
Report any accidents to manager on duty immediately.
Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company.
Obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working in excess of your regular schedule.
Dress in uniform and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.
Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.
Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.
Adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices.
Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager and Load Crew Manager.
All other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator in Bessemer. As a Machine Operator, you will operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines, as well as the conveyor system. You will also troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. Being a team player will be essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers. Your goal is to ensure that procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize both efficiency and profits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
* Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
* Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)
* Operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocator or shuttle machines)
* Perform audits, weights and quality checks
* Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
* Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
* Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures
* Troubleshoot, preventative maintenance, minor repair on blow mold & support equipment
* Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines

REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 2+ years' experience as a machine operator
* Blow mold operation experience
* Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are required
* Machine maintenance experience
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
* Ability to work overtime
* Physical stamina and strength/able to stand for long periods of time
TRAINING:
* Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90-days of hire date.
* Must be able to train on 1st shift, if needed.
