This position is responsible for identifying and implementing quality assurance and control activities across the Eversource Electric Business, primarily focused on Operations, including, but not limited to Transmission and Substations. This includes assessing, inspecting and/or auditing various aspects of the Project Lifecycle and/or Maintenance Programs, to ensure alignment with the strategic vision of the leadership team, as well as driving quality and accuracy of field construction, maintenance, engineering and drawing activities. This position is also responsible for coordination with other SMEs across Operations to drive business process improvements to resolve deficiencies in areas such as Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Major Projects, Compliance, Configuration Control, etc.
Essential Functions:Responsible for implementing the Company's electric quality assurance and control programs.Responsible for implementing the annual electric inspection plan including Construction, Operations, Major Projects and Maintenance activities.Designs and directs the development of performance tracking systems, balanced scorecards and performance reporting for the Electric Organization.Develops and maintains database and statistical models to facilitate research Work with Company subject matter experts, e.g., Project Lifecycle, Safety, Compliance, Construction, Major Projects, Training, Engineering and/or others as needed, to continually identify process improvements to assist the Electric Business in moving toward a zero-incident culture.Ensures configuration control of various company record systems essential to operations, through ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures.Implements annual risk-based assurance program (audits, inspections, analysis) aimed at ensuring key compliance programs and risk mitigation efforts are performing adequately in the electric business.Tracks mitigation or corrective plans and actions.Implements analysis and tracking to identify trends and issues; develops recommendations resulting from assessments.Perform internal audits and/or assessments of engineering, operations and projects deliverables and processes to ensure accuracy and quality.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Knowledge of transmission, substation and distribution power system planning, engineering, maintenance, and operations.A combination of strong technical knowledge and business acumen.Understanding of the Federal and New England Regulatory environment and the impact for the Electric Business.Working knowledge of information technology and use of Eversource's office automation and information systems.Ability to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction.Strong communication skills, including the ability to make formal presentations and translate technical information into terms that are meaningful to the audience.Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.Ability to create/manage Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Excel databases and associated user interfaces (visual basic, SQL or similar programming ability) is highly desirable.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or related discipline is required. An engineering degree is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required, with at least (2) years of experience managing teams and projects. Experience in the technical, operational or engineering aspects of the electric utility industry is strongly preferred. Experience in one or more aspects of the job is required and operations/field experience is preferred.
