Parallel Employment group in partnership with a customer in Lancaster has an exciting opening for a Quality Control Technician. In this role, you will verify product conformance in a fast paced environment with a large range of products. Additionally you will be receiving First Piece, In-process, Last Piece, Final and First Article Inspections.

Responsibilities:
Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions in the completion of daily activities with minimal input and supervision to ensure successful accomplishment of company objectives.

Requirements

Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on fabricated metal parts, welds, and assemblies
Conduct visual weld inspections and dimensional inspections
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, fabrication drawings, and mechanical prints
Maintain accurate QC reports, inspection logs, and test data
Calibrate and maintain measurement tools and QC equipment
Identify nonconformities (NCRs) and communicate issues to supervisors
Support continuous improvement for quality assurance and welding quality

Qualifications
2-5 years of experience as a Quality Control Technician, Quality Inspector, QC Inspector, Welding Inspector, or Manufacturing Quality Technician
Experience with weld inspection and metal fabrication inspection

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, fabrication prints, and electrical diagrams

Quality control analyst job in East Aurora, NY
Parallel Employment Group in partnership with an aerospace manufacturer in East Aurora is looking for Quality control inspectors to join the team. In this role the Quality Inspector ensures all assigned inspections are properly completed and documented in compliance with established policies and procedures and corresponding inspection forms and reports are properly executed prior to releasing products for use.
Shifts available: 1st and 2nd shift
Pay Rate $18.50 to $24.50
Responsibilities
Use and interpret work instructions and associated documents to ensure conformity of product.
Performs final inspection of the product.
Ensure all assigned inspections are properly completed in compliance with established policies and procedures and corresponding inspection records, reports, and forms are properly executed prior to releasing products.
When necessary, create nonconforming material reports.
Performing analysis, inspection, troubleshooting, and testing of products or components identified as non-conforming during an in-process and final inspection.
Maintain inspection equipment, ensuring that it is used within the calibration cycle, and is in good working condition.
Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects.
Prepare accepted product for use by appropriately labeling product to indicate status and printing unique device identification labels as necessary.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years' experience in Quality Inspection role
Proficient in all aspects of inspection including using and maintaining all inspection equipment
Experience with reading inspection processes and interpreting engineering drawings required
Expertise in the application and use of gauges and inspection equipment
Strong communication, organizational, documentation and time management skills
Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as a member of the Quality team and other cross-functional teams as required
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn various manufacturing software systems
Experience with ISO9000 or AS9100 Quality Systems a plus
