Responsibilities:

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology including up to one year of practical training and six years of full time clinical laboratory experience
• Must have current certification as a Medical Technologist
• Must obtain an active TN license as a Laboratory Supervisor
• Requires the analytical skills necessary to plan for, design or enhance highly complex systems and programs, resolve problems requiring a comprehensive and state of the art awareness of scientific field
• Requires the ability to effectively manage the employees within assigned unit/department and to persuade and negotiate with peer level managers on issues and programs that impact assigned unit/department. Work requires effectively dealing with conflicting views or issues and mediating fair workable solutions

**Job Summary**
Supervisor QC Microbiology requires working knowledge of Environmental Monitoring of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) cleanrooms including how to appropriately and effectively complete investigations of excursions. Familiarity with compendial microbiological testing methods for sterility, mycoplasma, endotoxin, etc., and experience with culturing and identifying various microorganisms (bacteria, yeast, fungi) by different methods (stains, PCR, etc.), is essential.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Leads all activities associated with daily operations of the QC Micro Department
* Oversee the performance of QC Analyst providing support and guidance by coaching areas of growth and development and recognizing and rewarding successes
* Reviews and maintains documentation and records for accuracy and compliance
* Prepare for and actively participate in internal and external audits, investigations, and reporting
* Provide direction and technical expertise to Micro team

**Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in biology or relevant scientific discipline

* Understanding of cGMP/GLP regulations as well as excellent GDP (documentation skills).
* Familiarity with relevant FDA, EMA, ICH, USP and EP guidelines and regulations associated with the quality control of aseptic processes, biologic/cell therapies in general and the environmental monitoring and operation of cleanrooms, specifically.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work interdepartmentally with QC, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance.

Compensation Data

The Gig:

ABOUT THE JOB
The Technical Solutions Chemist is a valuable member of the Helena Products Group (HPG) team. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of tests and investigation services required to support the HPG portfolio, which includes adjuvant, bioscience, fertilizer and crop protection products. This individual will fill an important need for the organization by providing field-facing technical support services for these products.
This position is with Helena Products Group (HPG). HPG develops Helena's extensive portfolio of proprietary products that includes seven product categories covering both crop production and crop protection. HPG leads the industry in creating innovations and formulation technologies and operates out of a state-of-the-art research, development and training facility located in Memphis, TN.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
Bench tests physical properties of agriculture products, such as pH, density, contact angle, water content, surface tension, viscosity, emulsion performances and flashpoint.
Assists in screening pure and diluted product mixtures for compatibility and reports findings.
Helps troubleshoot mixing and quality complaints submitted by Helena field team members and other end users.
Tests samples involved in Product Quality Notifications and competitive product analysis.
Performs testing needed for technical bulletins, product support bulletins and additional training documents.
Performs qualitative tests on HPG and competing products for development of new product demonstrations.
Participates in lab tours for employee and customer groups.
Aids in development and implementation of new laboratory methods and protocols.
Collects data and keeps appropriate records on all testing. Reports results to leader in a timely manner.
Maintains physical and electronic document storage including Safety Data Sheets.
Maintains chemical inventory, instruments, equipment, glassware and laboratory spaces.
Cleans glassware per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) instructions.
May be required to operate a company vehicle.
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, biology, agriculture or related field is required. or a high school diploma and five years of experience in chemistry or related field is required.

The Gig:
The
Chemical Technician
plays a critical role in our engagement and customer longevity. It is responsible for ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and resolving immediate issues, proactively addressing any potential issues and identifying areas of opportunity as it relates to the customer experience. The typical number of sites this role is responsible for is 50-75 sites per month.
What You'll Do:
Provide professional, expert solutions to all customers, to enable their business to be profitable and leave their customers satisfied with a clean, shiny, dry vehicle every time they use our products
Site Preventative Care & troubleshooting:
Titration of product as needed
Volumemetrics for product as needed
Minor chemical equipment/application repairs
Customer Satisfaction:
Responsible for site chemical conversions & installations, and keeping the customers informed of progress
Monitor customer levels and responsible for Chemical Inventory & replenishment orders placed at sites under responsibility
Maintain Wash Key Reporting - Service Report
Conduct NCS Site Surveys using the template
Support & execute on corporate accounts (CTC) per the protocols
Provide on-site revenue program training
Conduct Technical & Chemistry basic training with appropriate location personnel
Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer files (SF, Portal, Google & CTM) of customers and their issues
Analyze customer outputs, and make recommendations on technical updates or ways to increase efficiency and wash counts for the designated site.
Customer Expansion:
Identify areas of opportunity for our account, conduct an initial intake discussion and communicate to sales management

Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
Car Wash experience is preferred but not required
Basic mechanical knowledge & aptitude
Ability to communicate internally and externally across all levels of the organization
Good microsoft office skills and basic knowledge of a computer
Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service and support.
Ability to function with minimal supervision and work in a team environment. Must be a self-starter and be extremely motivated.

Preferably experience with working in a fast-paced assembly environment.
