Job Description SUMMARY: The Quality Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring product quality by conducting inspections, verifying compliance with quality standards, supporting assembly, molding and paint operations, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities: The Quality Technician will ensure quality goals are met through an operational and analytical focus, an attention to detail, defect detection and corrective/preventative action, with strong internal partnerships with the production department. This is a fast passed job that requires walking, standing, and satisfactory multitasking. The Quality Technician will: Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining key indicators of product quality and safety through inspection, testing and communication. Promote maintenance of food safety and quality programs, HACCP, allergen control, ingredient control, GMP's, document control, traceability, product quality reviews, and corrective/preventative action. Be responsible for reporting any deviations in quality processes to the Quality Supervisor. Have a hands-on approach and strong interpersonal skills that allow you to become familiar with the plant processes and work with others to ensure alignment and drive continuous improvement within the daily operations in the plant. Ensure alignment of plant procedures with quality policy and SQF elements Ensure all testing and inspections are aligned with plant quality procedures and specifications Develop a strong knowledge of plant floor activities Support the maintenance of SQF certification Required and Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma and/or equivalent experience Working knowledge of quality systems to ensure food safety and quality Strong interpersonal and documentation skills Working knowledge in Microsoft software and computing skills The ability to follow SOPs (standard operating procedures) 1+ years of industry experience in quality systems 2 years of experience or BS degree in scientific field Working knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (scales, thermometers, calipers, analyzers). Job Description To support the Quality Department's ability to achieve its goals. This includes accurately and timely auditing of company process, incoming material, work-in-process and customer shipments to achieve PAC Quality and Business objectives and to comply with AS 9100 standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Perform first article (FAIR) tasks including documentation and reports. Perform 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to PAC standards and AS 9100 procedures. Submit PPAP documents. Perform incoming inspection tasks according to AS 9100 procedures. Perform final inspection and shipping tasks according to AS 9100 procedures. Perform process audits and follow-up with corrective actions. Ensure the quality of all material meets customer specifications through applicable quality policies, procedures and instructions. Cross train across multiple departments Perform data collection and communication tasks in ERP system and other applications. Perform miscellaneous quality-related clerical duties. Comply with all PAC policies. Additional Information Physical Requirements: Vision to AS 9100 standards documented by yearly vision exams. Able to stand, sit/or ambulate across the production space for long periods of time. Up to 95% of the scheduled shift. Effectively handle and manipulate parts in order to identify needed specifications. Effectively operate complex measuring instruments.
