ITQ Technologist - Cereal - 1st Shift - (6AM - 2 PM. ) Golden Valley Minnesota 55427 6+ months The Operations Technologist role involves autonomously setting up, completing sanitation and running equipment for trials. He or she exhibits strong customer service for various ITQ platforms. In this role, you will be providing support to various platforms with a focus on the Cereal platform. Schedule: This position is scheduled five days per week, 8 hours per day from the hours of 6AM - 2 PM. Actual days of the work week, start times and end times may change based on business needs. Chandler operates five divisions, including four in Minnesota-Blaine, Long Prairie, Montevideo, and Wyoming-and one in Chihuahua, Mexico. The Quality Technician II performs quality inspection on parts, components and products that are received, in-process, and finished per customer, company, and regulatory requirements. Assists with the design, development and implementation of inspection methods, plans, and testing equipment. Will run CMM's in production environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities Using work instructions, job traveler, blueprints, engineer drawings and specifications; inspects, checks, and tests materials, parts, components, and product during various stages of production including leave, in-process, and finished. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications; handle complex GD&T with limited guidance. Select appropriate inspection tools and perform accurate, repeatable measurements. Conduct dimensional, bore, plate-based, and functional inspections independently. Perform part alignments, surface evaluations, hardness checks, and visual inspections. Execute inspection CMM programs and perform basic troubleshooting as needed. Verify equipment calibration status prior to use. Complete inspection documentation accurately, including DHRs, travelers, and inspection records. Write basic Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) independently. Communicate inspection results clearly with operators, supervisors, and quality personnel. Manage assigned workload independently while maintaining quality and accuracy. Collaborate effectively with team members and support overall quality objectives. Adapt to changing priorities with some guidance while maintaining performance. Take ownership of work and promptly identify and escalate quality issues. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Required Skills and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of metrology including measurement machines (CMM). Must be able to pass annual visual exam (20-25, corrected, uncorrected, one eye). Proficient reading, writing, oral communication, and comprehension in English language. Proven ability to work independently in a manufacturing or quality environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn new processes and apply feedback consistently. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Compensation Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position. These may include skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
