We are looking for an experienced Production Tech to help us weld, laser cut and form parts on press brake. DUTIES: Read and complete work orders as assigned by the shop foreman. Production welding of product runs, from low to high quantity run sizes. MIG welding of steel sheet metal parts Possible TIG welding of Aluminum parts if you are capable Potential to run in house laser cutter. Load sheets, build cutting nest, un-nest parts. Potential to run in house press brake. Follows instructions and coaching of shop foreman and engineering department to ensure quality meets Van Compass brand standards. Ensure consistent quality of work across production runs. Ensure work in process is kept in an organized, orderly fashion. Deburr and final inspection of product. Move weldments internally between the production area and powdercoat area Report quantity completed to shop foreman. Notify foreman of issues with equipment or materials. Responsible for testing, sampling, measuring and inspection of raw materials, machined parts, final product and processes for quality, deviations, or defects according to specifications. Amentum is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Spokane, Washington in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) client. Our ideal candidate is experienced in chemical and physical laboratory testing, interpretation, and data analysis. Main Responsibilities: Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests, interpret and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present conclusions in a timely manner. Assist with processing biological samples to produce DNA profiles in support of organizational efforts. Provide laboratory subject matter expertise for Research & Development / Test & Evaluation efforts. Data collection and entry for obtaining metrics and maintaining records. Conduct laboratory tests for use in developing standard formulas for experimental procedures. Ensure compliance with laboratory chemical hygiene, bloodborne pathogen, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines / policies. Provide laboratory demonstrations of analytical capabilities and processes. Test all safety equipment on a periodic basis. Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, biology, forensics, or similar field from an accredited college or university At least 2 years of experience conducting laboratory testing and reporting. Professional knowledge of and experience with laboratory safety, laboratory occupational hazards, and OSHA compliance. The ability to utilize standardized scientific literature and develop effective written and oral reports that are clear, accurate, and logical. The ability to keep precise and detailed records for the preparation of technical reports. Experience using Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Skills and Experience: Active TS/SCI clearance. Five or more years of wet chemistry laboratory experience. Experience with Adobe Photoshop. Prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus. Other Requirements: This is a non-remote, full-time on-site position. Some after-hours or short-term shift work may be required to support urgent customer needs, including weekends and holidays. Occasional travel may be required (0-10%). Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, working at a desk or in the laboratory. Ability to lift various sizes of materials and equipment (up to 50lbs).
