REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: The production technician supports many functions for the audio visual team. They support the following events: Mission Command Training, (Joint, CORP, Division, and Brigade) War Fighters (Joint Operations, CORP, Division, and Brigade) they also coordinate with the Command Information Center for Video Teleconferences set up Senior Mentor Conferences workshops. These are either supported at the exercise unit (worldwide) location or here at Ft. Leavenworth. All Seminar Classes, After Action Reviews, Combine Arms Rehearsals, Battle Update Briefs, and Media Engagement Events are recorded. Also the production technician takes many still photos and videos of the above events. Any and all of these products are used by the army in their training of the units. The production technician places these products into a take home training packet that can be used by the exercised unit and the Operation Group back in Ft. Leavenworth. They also have to edit, cut and provide a DVD or CD of the above products to the Army so that they can review and use them in an informed manner when training an exercised unit. At Ft. Leavenworth the production technician is tasked to help set up the team conference rooms for classes and briefings. The production technician also sets up LCD projectors and computers throughout the team building to support training on the teams. High School Diploma.
