Requirements: · Completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology and ARRT registry, with a valid Iowa Radiology technologist permit to practice, OR a graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification program OR an Advanced medical training degree (Associate of Science degree or Associate's degree in paramedic, or Allied Health Profession) · Two years of related experience required. · Basic Life Support required within 3 months of hire. Conduct first article inspections and validation of new or revised processes, parts, or equipment. Assist with supplier quality activities, including incoming inspection, supplier issue documentation, and communication of quality concerns. Maintain and verify calibration status of inspection tools and gages per established procedures. Follow and support compliance with internal quality procedures and safety requirements. The pay is $18hr and is a 1st shift position.Reports to Site Supervisor/Site Leads Quality Inspector Responsibilities (To include but not limited to the following) Client Relationship & Business Development The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. Operations The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies. Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader. Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material. Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job. Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment. Organization & Management Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source. Technical MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies. Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
