Quality Systems Technician
Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Quality Systems Technician will assist with the implementation of a new Quality Management System software (Compliance Quest), with an emphasis on the document control and training modules. This position will be responsible for running reports, creating spreadsheets, preparing data/documents for transfer, and assisting with document revision to reflect the new system. This position may also assist Document Control with an improvement initiative to combine two document sets.
Essential Functions:
* Comply with the Sientra quality system requirements as well as any applicable regulatory requirements.
* Comply with all health and safety regulations, policies and work practices.
* Run reports and create data tables for information transfer from one system to the other.
* Verify training data within the current system against HR reports.
* Assist with verification and modification of training plans.
* Upload/send documents for implementation in the new system.
* Support validation and implementation by running test scripts and testing system customizations.
* Revise documents as required to reflect the new system or as assigned per the improvement initiative.
* Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, and applicable regulations.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
* Associates degree; 2 years related experience in the medical device industry preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience working within a quality management software preferred; or ability to learn/adapt to new software quickly.
* Ability to read and understand work instructions, and operating procedures.
* Proficiency in basic databases and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Must be detail oriented.

In This Role:
- Lead software identification and implementation for Manufacturing organization.
- Drive and partner with IT as the business owner of our operations excellence software applications.
- Implement the following enterprise applications (including but not limited to): MRP, MES, CAPA, PLM and Doc Control applications.
- Build software platforms for the enterprise to be used across all domains.
- Develop the software capital investment plans, ROIs and justifications. Deliver on those plans.
- Define, manage and improve the software and product development processes by working closely with cross functional leaders to deliver world class operations applications.
- Deliver project plans to manage the day-to-day activities for systems teams.
- Facilitate new business processes. Execute medium- to large-scale initiatives/transformations.
- Provide leadership, strategic planning and budgeting for the execution of enterprise systems.
- Develop applications across waterfall and agile environments to ensure business applications are delivered on-time and under budget.
- Integrate DevOps best practices and capabilities into operations and engineering development teams.
- Influence and lead cross functional, sourced or matrixed team.
- Manage large application development systems.
- Develop and implement training programs for new business applications.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of application development leadership experience.
- 5+ years of Manufacturing experience.
- 7+ years of people leadership with direct reports and matrix environment .
- Experience with technologies : SAP, C++ or C sharp development, Python, application software for MRP, MES, PLM and Quality systems.
- Experience with leading innovative, technically complex solutions for business and consumer-facing audiences.
- Experience with designing & implementing cloud native solutions.
- Strong understanding of API platforms, back-end services, database and networking components of full stack infrastructure.
