Lead Quantity Surveyor
This role will support Project Controls in the area of progress measurement at a KBR Construction jobsite in the Texas Gulf Coast region. - Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling.
- Coordinates with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply.
- Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion.
- Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis.
- Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls.
- Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.

The Planning Engineer helps to ensure competitiveness, efficient project execution, productive internal / external interfaces, and proactive risk management. The Planning Engineer/Quantity Surveyor shall provide guidance and deliver planning execution plans and schedules per Air Products Standards to suit the project execution strategy and needs from both and internal and external aspect. They shall produce accurate and timely reporting input and analysis to the project and work within the project applicable procedures and process workflows.
To fulfill the requirements of the position, the incumbent must develop collaborative working relationships with Global Engineering and Manufacturing (GEM) team members, along with strong business leadership across all internal functions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings to assist in the preparation of construction execution plans and or the validation of contractors plans.
