Under the direction of the Director and Manager of Radiology Services, the Supervisor will manage the daily work flow, assigning staff as appropriate to facilitate the smooth operation of the Radiology Department. The Supervisor performs administrative duties of supervision within the department, and is responsible for directing daily departmental activities, technical staff, and ancillary personnel. Will work as a Radiographic Technologist to complete the daily work schedule, in order to maintain our goal of providing quality patient care and service. The employee will demonstrate a professional approach in their work, with emphasis on patient care and in their technical abilities to complete requested exams promptly, while still maintaining patient safety. Be responsive in the need to promote and use proper radiation safety principles, both for the safety of the patient as well as themselves and co-workers. What You Need to Be Successful:


High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an approved and accredited radiologic educational program required. Registration from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists and license as a Radiological Technologist in the state of Maryland is required. Three years of supervisory experience in a radiology department. Strong technical knowledge in field of radiology. Strong organizational and managing skills. Ability to deal efficiently, ethically, and courteously with physicians, patients, and hospital staff. Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
