Full Time Position-Garner Location: Works in conjunction with the ROC Patient Service Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of Garner Patient Service Representatives (PSR). Coordinates PSR coverage in the Garner clinic and works with PSR Supervisor to coordinate back up support when needed. The Lead supports efficient clinic flow and communicates accurately and positively with team members, patients, PSR Supervisor, Clinical Staff, and Physicians. The PSR-Lead works with management to ensure practice policies and guidelines are being met. This position is a dual role and will perform both Patient Service Representative and Lead job duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in practice environment with previous Lead or Coordinator experience in a larger front desk office environment. Must demonstrate excellent customer service attitude/behavior; proficiency in multi-tasking, flexibility, time management, organization, attention to detail, scheduling, professionalism and quality focus. Functions well in a team focused environment. Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking abilities. Experience dealing with the public; ability to maintain composure when confronted with stressful situations; neat appearance and pleasant, outgoing personality; accuracy in obtaining patient information; excellent communication skills required. Electronic health record experience required.
Must be able to work in a cooperative manner and maintain effective working relationships with management/supervisors, co-workers, customers and vendors.

We re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Surgical Medical Assistant to join our collaborative care team. In this role, you ll perform patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and with delegation from a Physician. You ll play a key role in ensuring each surgical patient receives high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with surgical procedures and examinations
Prepare and set up for surgical and in-office procedures
Perform patient-oriented procedures as directed by the physician or RN
Complete all required documentation for surgical patients accurately and thoroughly
Coordinate and track diagnostic and lab orders and results
Document patient communications, messages, and clinical updates in the EHR
Apply and assist with casts, splints, and wound care, including dressing changes and suture removal
Provide patient education on pre- and post-operative care
Administer injections and medications as delegated and supervised
Float to other clinical sites as needed to support provider schedules
Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized procedure areas
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification required
Two to three years of experience in a clinical environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Proven ability to work cooperatively with physicians, nurses, management, and peers
Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills
