    Full-Time Position - Panther Creek Location. The Front Office Operations Associate works under the supervision of the Director of the surgery center. Responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling process for all procedures performed in the Surgery Center. Provides personalized services to include patient registration, collection of co-pays and surgery center information to address patient/family member questions and concerns. Collections of past due payments and follow up billing calls. One year experience in medical insurance with billing or test/surgery scheduling experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital environment preferred. General knowledge of the reasons for patient care/services as administered in the surgery center, including physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, physicians, and patients; use independent judgment required in planning, prioritizing and organizing diversified workload. Attention to detail. Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 codes preferred. Strong telephone communication. Computer literate as well as data entry skills. CPR certification required, can obtain upon hire Must be able to work in a cooperative manner and maintain effective working relationships with management/supervisors, co-workers, customers, and vendors. Hours needed are Monday through Friday 9am -5pm but some flexibility is required. May have to stay later on occasion.
