**Description:** Verifies, compiles and maintains complete and current delivery instructions, documents and records to effect the acceptance, release and delivery of aircraft and aircraft equipment to assure conformance to contractual requirements, utilizing a complete knowledge of aircraft and equipment acceptance, release and delivery policies and procedures; receives and furnishes delivery information through authorized channels, initiating requests for such information as required; compiles documents for acceptance release, delivery and movement of aircraft by reflecting specification requirements, loose equipment and shortages according to their quantity, location in aircraft, status and drawing number\.
Examines various change documents and indicates those items to be posted to aircraft records, reflecting deviations from aircraft specifications of weight, balance, and performance, ensuring accuracy in accordance with program and contractual requirements\.
Obtains information from such sources as customer shipping instructions, contracts, program letters, engineering changes and specifications, catalogs, aircraft delivery documents, blueprints, lists, work orders, actual observation of the aircraft and Company and customer personnel as required to accurately update and/or create aircraft historical records\.
Must demonstrate working knowledge of aircraft documentation; must possess basic math skills\.
Must be able to perform basic computer operations\.
PERFORMS SUCH RELATED DUTIES AS:
Maintains various manuals and records in support of the duties described herein; records part serial numbers and reports shortages and other discrepancies to affected personnel; verifies conformance of the aircraft being delivered with the applicable requirements\.
E nsures all records are updated and ensures that all items identified on aircraft documentation has been physically verified including verification of loose items; prepares and maintains aircraft log books for aircraft and components by recording appropriate data\.
Contacts customer representatives and affected Company personnel to obtain final approval of delivery documents\.
Operates a computer workstation and related state\-of\-the\-art office equipment in support of and not to exceed the level of difficulty described herein\. Performs clerical duties associated with the duties described herein\.
