Regal Springs was founded in 1988 in Central Java.
In 1994, he secured Regal Springs’ first large food service contract in the US and proceeded to take Tilapia from being a virtually unknown fish in the country to becoming the fourth-most-consumed seafood item in the United States after shrimp, salmon and tuna.
The business became a success and soon Regal Springs began to export into the United States, where it opened its first sales office in 1994.
In 1998, Regal Springs® started farming in Lake Toba, the world’s largest volcanic lake
In 1998, Aquafinca St Peter Fish in Honduras became part of the Regal Springs family.
In 2016, Regal Springs was acquired by the Golden Springs Group, a life sciences business.
In 2017, Regal Springs started to operate with new innovation and sales strategy building upon our more than 30 years of experience in responsible aquaculture and processing.
In 2018, Regal Springs has been busy integrating the business globally and launched the Regal Springs WE CARE Integrated Sustainability Plan across the business.
After a successful global career in food & beverages, and agricultural businesses, he moved into fisheries in 2019, which was like a homecoming.
