Collects and tests oil samples to prove current lubricant stability on all water and wastewater treatment capital equipment. Identifies and selects the correct lubricant for all process equipment based on current operating conditions. Transports lubricants following industries best practices to prevent cross contamination. Changes oil, filter and desiccant driers on process equipment. Analyzes oil test results, using the CSI 5200 analyzer or similar instrument, in relation to design or rated specification, modifies or adjusts lubricant to meet correct specifications. Utilizes ultra-sound equipment following industries best practices when greasing bearings to prevent over and under greasing of bearings. Collects route vibration data using the CSI 2020 and 2140 vibration data collector or similar vibration analysis equipment. Takes infrared images using a FLIR E-60 infrared or similar camera to identify various mechanical and electrical problems. Trends and records and evaluates predictive maintenance data and recommends corrective action using various software applications such as the Emerson's Machinery Health.
