By performing state-of-the-art ultrafast nonlinear optical spectroscopy techniques-such as transient absorption and impulsive vibrational spectroscopy-the role aims to probe polariton-controlled electronic and nuclear dynamics occurring on femtosecond to nanosecond timescales in photoexcited molecules and materials.
